You can combine a visit and tasting at Trebotti organic winery with taste experiences featuring the best zero-mile organic cuisine from our farm workshop, using products nature provides. You can visit the most fascinating places in Tuscia, from MUVIS, Europe’s largest wine museum, to Civita di Bagnoregio, the Monsters Park of Bomarzo, Viterbo and Orvieto, plus nature excursions, thermal baths, truffle hunting and much more.

Every year we bring together the themes of cultivation and culture.
Directly in our winery, thanks to our farm workshop, we organize tastings, lunches and events. We are also available as a venue for weddings and team building. With the slogan “TREBOTTI in Teverina – Wine, Art, Culture” we host concerts, exhibitions and conferences. Every year we organize the “Bio harvest” day in mid-September. Since 2003, the year the winery was founded, we have welcomed more than 15,000 wine tourists from around the world.
Walk through the vineyards, the olive grove and the Etruscan tomb where our sparkling wine matures. During the walk around the estate we will tell you about our sustainability projects; you will meet Jane, our beautiful donkey mascot, and enter the ancestral cave: a 2,500-year-old Etruscan tomb (a journey through time where layers of lapilli and ash from eruptions of Lake Bolsena volcano 850,000, 500,000 and 350,000 years ago are still visible), where our Metodo Classico Ancestrale sparkling wine patiently matures. Then, walking to the winery among nature and works of art, we will explain organic winemaking and our commitment to quality wines while respecting the environment and the community that hosts us. Finally we invite you to your table for a wine tasting paired with gourmet products we make ourselves, with our wine always centre stage.

You will enjoy our unforgettable view atop the hills overlooking the Tiber valley, the Alviano Oasis (one of Europe’s most important wetlands and a WWF reserve), and, right opposite, Umbria.
We will meet on our courtyard where we begin to tell you about our sustainable winery carved into tuff, then we set off on a walk around the estate. You will see our twenty-year-old vineyards and our sixty-year-old plot, then our olive grove, and meet Jane, our free and happy donkey, the best ecological lawn mower.
As we talk about our grape varieties and wines we also share our sustainability projects. Meanwhile, on the walk we take you to visit a 2,500-year-old Etruscan tomb where our Metodo Classico Ancestrale sparkling wine matures. You will travel back in time seeing with your own eyes geological evidence of Bolsena eruptions up to 850,000 years ago. Walking towards the winery, among works of art, we will describe all our innovative projects for fair, sustainable and carbon-neutral agriculture: from our bio-lake to the sustainable underground winery, the eco-technological drying room, and 3S Sustainable Sans Sulphites winemaking. All projects born and certified thanks to collaboration with Italy’s leading research centres. Then finally, in the winery, a tasting of our finest wines awaits you with a menu rich in our BioSustainable delicacies (local cheeses and cured meats, bruschetta with our Selezione Verde olive oil, customised crostini from our recipes, seasonal vegetables and desserts) paired with our best wines.
Each tasting can be personalised with disgorging of our Metodo Classico Ancestrale sparkling wine. For a supplement of €10 per person, for at least six people, we let you choose a bottle (among those that have finished hand riddling) directly from our cave, which will then be opened and disgorged live with you in a copper pan full of water and poured into your glasses. You will taste the sparkling wine exactly as it emerges, after three years of ageing, from the Etruscan cave.
